our pastor
Garth joined Ascend Church in June of 2025 while it was still called First Baptist Church of Howell. Garth came on board not only to pastor the church but to help it grow to have a significant impact on Howell like the church has in the past. His vision for Ascend Church is to be a blessing to the local community. Garth is married to his wife Kylie with four children in their home. He enjoys playing ice hockey, reading, being active and spending time with friends and family. Garth received his Master of Divinity from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary.
